Why Choose Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital

Our fellowship program is designed to bring you up to speed smoothly, while learning from the best minds in the field.

Collaborative learning with limitless experiences

OhioHealth’s Hospice and Palliative Medicine program has a unique, collegial partnership with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, which gives our combined nine fellows many more clinical experiences than what is possible with an isolated program. You will be trained to treat adult and pediatric patients at urban and rural care sites, in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Fellows from all three systems attend lectures together and develop close relationships with one another and each program’s faculty. You will learn from physicians and advanced practice providers trained in acupuncture, hypnotherapy, geriatrics, family medicine, internal medicine, radiation oncology, medical oncology, interventional pain, and emergency medicine.
